This portrait in an abstract expressionism way is deconstruction of a face reconstructed an abstract form similar to a Picasso cubism did to his faces I like to use it in a street style very bold textures and colors kind of creating a mask. I like creating these masks because they feel like they're the mask that we as people use everyday in our lives protecting us and guiding us.
So these paintings are symbolic of people's Warrior type mask that they use at work and in daily life in this series of paintings I'm working up to for an exhibit.
